AS-LA stands for Accessible and Sustainable Landscape Architecture. Our objective is to create inclusive, functional spaces for all, integrating nature, addressing climate and biodiversity emergencies and delivering high quality designs, all while considering place settings, history, users and sustainability requirements. To create designs that have positive impact on our lives and the environment.

We design with the end user in mind, putting people first. Every project aims to add social values through design by creating places for people of all abilities and backgrounds. Inclusive, accessible, and functional places where users can interact with nature and beauty to enhance their health and well-being.
We design with and for nature, integrating it into every project from the outset. Understanding natural cycles and the vital role that design plays in tackling climate and biodiversity emergency, enables us to add environmental value to the sites, enhancing its ecology.
We design considering three aesthetic aspects in landscape: beauty, meaning and experience. Using our knowledge, creativity and passion, we we deliver the highest quality design, mindfully considering the place settings, its history, culture, users and sustainability requirements.
What we do:
AS-LA provides a wide range of services, including landscape architecture, garden design, training, and tutoring. We collaborate with architects, landscape architects, garden designers, community groups, and private clients, sharing our vision and knowledge and helping them deliver projects to the highest standards.
We are dedicated to creating inclusive, beautiful, and sustainable solutions for public spaces, community and private gardens, as well as indoor greenery. We use nature based solutions (NBS) in all our projects to enhance biodiversity, wildlife habitats, and the well-being of users.
We explore a broad range of concepts, including active travel, accessibility, the social life of public spaces, health and wellbeing, diversity in the public realm, biophilia, NBS, Green-Blue Infrastructure, Urban Greening Factor, biodiversity and Biodiversity Net Gain, SuDS, and phytoremediation.
We believe in sharing knowledge related to landscape architecture and the benefits of designing with or for nature. We do so with short blog entries, talks, and longer publications.

Who we are:
AS-LA is a London based landscape architecture and garden design studio that specialises in creating sustainable and inclusive spaces, founded in 2019 by Anna Sieczak.
Anna Sieczak
CMLI, PGDip LA, Eng in LA
Originally from Poland and a Londoner by choice, Anna was exposed to a myriad of cultures and design expressions through her travels and research. She developed an interest in sustainability from a young age, being raised in the countryside of Mazovia and then studying Oceanography, in Gdansk, but it was Landscape Architecture that stole her heart and took her to London. Here she graduated with a Dip in LA from the University of Greenwich, has since worked with many renowned offices, and has recently opened her own studio. She shares her passion for sustainable and inclusive design while lecturing at University of East London.
Anna’s portfolio of work includes projects in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. She has worked for renowned design practices in London and has experience leading projects from inception through completion. This experience of working across different continents and offices allows her to bring a global perspective to her design approach.
